Only a small percentage of owners who are considering the sale of their businesses proactively advertise online or elsewhere.  As you can imagine, it can be a dicey proposition to reach out to a wide audience of potential buyers if discretion is required.   Even sellers who actively market and advertise rarely reach their best potential buyers.
When you register as a buyer with SBX, Inc., we can begin to scout for opportunities that meet your criteria. 
When you give us permission to publish your criteria on our Buyers List (with ABSOLUTELY NO personal information),  prospective sellers are able  to contact us in a discrete venue.  It is certainly easier for everyone concerned to have a central, published database to bring buyers and sellers together.
